I didn’t have a Sega Genesis growing up, so I’ve never been the gamer that’s held Sonic the Hedgehog in high regard. I’ve played through Sonic Adventure 2, but that’s been pretty much my overall experience with SEGA’s mascot UNTIL I ended up renting Sonic Generations through Redbox.
In the couple of days that I had with the title, I had fun trying to figure out how to cut my stage completion times and goofing around with the 3D platforming mechanics. I didn’t play enough of it to review here, but I feel completely comfortable with purchasing it brand new for this price through Amazon:
By comparison, if you wanted to play the downloadable-only Sonic 4, you would have to pay $10 for episode one and $15 for episode two. As far of episode three goes — nobody knows if it’ll ever exist!
Skip all that mess and pick this Sonic game up instead.
