Injustice: Gods Among Us Opening Cinematic Trailer

For those of you who cannot wait for Tuesday, here’s the opening that starts off the story mode. If you’re kept up with the Injustice comic, this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise…

All I have to do is keep myself alive until April 16th… that’s all I have to do…

Injustice: Gods Among Us Japanese Box Art

Looking a hell of a lot better than what we’re getting here in America. Regardless, I’m still looking forward to the second release from NetherRealm Studios and even have considered running down to the local comic book shops to pick up the Injustice comics just to get fully hyped.

I’ve spent way too much of my free time with trying to create a perfect Adam West Batman in WWE ‘13. I think I can say that I’ve almost got it, just need to work on the face a bit more…

Solomon Grundy, Harley Quinn, and Batman - Injustice: Gods Among Us Concept Art

NetherRealm still hasn’t given up a release date for the DC fighting game, but I do enjoy how they’re taking their time with revealing the details. They announced Catwoman this week, but as of right now, it seems like they’ll be treating this as a Mortal Kombat game and let loose one or two names every month to build up hype.

I’m still interested, even if I’m not too amped up to play Injustice. I’m just waiting on the announcement of Plastic Man.

Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition Revealed for the Wii U

I don’t mind the electric blue color of the Wii U, but that yellow stripe is really bugging me. However, I did see someone point out that these new box art designs are very similar to what Nintendo used for the Gamecube boxes.

Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition is still lacking a release date, but it is still expected to be shipped sometime this year.

Concept Art for Injustice: Gods Among Us

NetherRealm Studios had an amazing hit last year with their Mortal Kombat reboot, and the news that the same guys were working on a fighting game using all DC characters was absolutely baffling. Even when I come across the updates regarding the title, I still find myself wondering if this isn’t just some bizarre practical joke being played on us. Everything seems so out-of-place regarding Injustice with the look of the characters, the font, the lack of the DC Comics branding in the name; it’s just hard to believe that this is a thing that exists.

Injustice: Gods Among Us will be released for the Wii U, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 sometime in 2013.

Don’t look away, this is actually the best part of the game! I mean, look at the gameplay:

I absolutely hated these types of games as a child.  However, if you’re the misogynistic type of gamer, you can download the free Batman Remake created Tomaz Kac in 2010. Go ahead and burn your Monday afternoon with playing a remastered version of the first Batman video game ever created!

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Parodies Batman: Arkham City Beautifully

After playing the 3DS demo, I love how the LEGO Batman game goes one step further by recreating Batman’s slow-motion finishing move from Arkham City.  Add in the fact that the game uses the Danny Elman’s score from the early Batman movies, and you have something that I might be willing to pick up once it gets a decent price cut (like all the LEGO game before it).
