I am seriously looking forward to Friday for this one. I played through a couple of levels on the Wii but really hated some of the waggle controls. Thankfully, the controls have been adjusted for better play on the 3DS, and I’m hoping for a better game all around because of it.

Scribblenauts Unlimited Box Art Revealed [Wii U]

Even though I haven’t played the first two Scribblenauts titles released on the Nintendo DS, I am looking forward to checking this one out after watching some gameplay videos. Personally, I’m looking forward to picking up Nintendo’s new system as a way to play through unique, quirky titles that cannot be found on the other consoles.

Scribblenauts Unlimited will be released for the Nintendo Wii U on August, 18th, the launch day for the system.

Takken Tag Tournament 2 Covers Revealed, Feature Reversible Box Art

It’s to my understanding that the top photo will be what gamers in North America can expect while the bottom photo will be the packaging sent out to Latin America countries. If you don’t live in either one of those areas, it seems that you will receive the standard cover of just Heihachi and Jin (top right).

I haven’t been hit yet by that pesky Fighting Game cycle, but I’m sure that I’ll be overcome by the hype soon enough. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be released in North America on September 11th for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Capcom Reveals Box Art for DmC: Devil May Cry

I’m still not too sure what’s going on with this reboot of the Devil May Cry series, but it seems that people are eagerly awaiting to see what has become of the hack and slash series. I’ve never really been that much into games of this style, but I have been enjoying reading fans crying out against the bastardization of one of their favorite games. Who would’ve guessed there would be so much negativity regarding Capcom’s decision to make alternate-reality Dante’s hair brown!

DmC: Devil May Cry will be released on January 15th, 2013 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Cover Art for Dishonored

I’ve had my eye on this title whenever it was first announced, but things have been pretty quiet regarding the Bethesda-published stealth-action game. There has been some positive impressions published in the last week, but I’m surprised to see a lack of interest on the message boards that I read.

Dishonored is set to release on October 9th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC — so, shouldn’t there be more buzz online? A seemingly unique first-person action game that focuses primarily on utilizing stealth, gadgets, and magic to assassinate your targets in a late 1800 London setting?!?

Day one purchase.

Surely I’m not the only one who came home early from work today to download Wario Land from the eShop!

Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale Box Art Revealed

Well…kinda.

Amazon UK uploaded the photo along with several screen shots, so it is completely legit photo, but it’s most likely that this is some sort of place-holder as several characters have yet to be revealed. I seriously doubt Sony would put their Fat Princess as a major character on the cover and leave out their golden-child, Nathan Drake from Uncharted.

However, the American Amazon site has a standard black box with the Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale logo and a release date of December 31st, 2012. If you pre-order now, you can save a total of .03 cents and receive exclusive character skins!

Wunderbar!!

Darksiders II Box Art Revealed

Even though I absolutely loved the first title, there really isn’t anything about this sequel that has me excited. The original Darksiders was fun enough, but there was nothing particularly thrilling for me regarding the story to where I’m gung-ho about finding out what happened to War or why I’m now playing as Death. Actually to be more precise, I really don’t care, but I’m looking forward to reading reviews for this one.

Darksiders II is set to be released for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on August 14th while the Wii U version is expected before the end of the year.

Dead Space 3 Box Art Revealed

I thought this image was kind of strange until I read about how the third game will have Issac Clarke travel to a frozen planet to destroy another Marker. The news of the drop-in, drop-out co-op mode is interesting, but Dead Space has always been more of a single player experience for me. I’m not sure if I really want to change that, but Visceral Games has plenty of time to persuade me.

Dead Space 3 is scheduled for release on February 13th, 2013.
